Friends, CBS Sports is showing the 2013 Milwaukee Open tomorrow night (July 2) at 7 PM. The tournament played on May 29-June 2. I promise not to spill the beans like I did a couple of weeks ago.
The finalists are an impressive group: Jason Sterner, Michael Fagan, Norm Duke, Pete Weber, and Chris Barnes. It should be fun to watch.
Enjoy.

Yes, the last two were very entertaining. Appreciated the added technical analysis as well. Hopefully the analysis will continue.

Definitely enjoyed the last 2 matches especially. Great stuff to watch.

I don't know about anyone else, but I love watching guys play the Badger pattern where they actually are playing the shot, not just blowing holes in the pattern

I agree, I love seeing these guys throw on some stuff that would probably make most bowlers sit down and cry.
I tell you what I would love to see, a tougher shot and only allow them to use entry or lower priced equipment. Would be neat to only see everyone throwing, Strike Kings, Freeze's, Vibe's, etc.
Also you are in luck, apparently the " King of Swing" tournament is going to be the 52 foot Badger Pattern because Chris Barnes got to pick for being the points leader.

A lot of the guys out there are playing the shot the right way on this long pattern. I have no disrespect for the talent of the players out there. I just wish ball surfaces would be limited to something that can't blow a hole in anything less than a 50 foot flood.
If competition balls were limited to plastic and hard rubber the oil volume could be cut to less than half what is normal today. Everyone would be forced to square up out of the gate, and only open them up after a number of games. Putting the game back to where we could have legitimate long formats without re oiling every squad would be great for the competition too
