Bad karma

Guess about now Mike Fagan is learning a little bit about karma.  Open mouth, insert foot.

As much as I like Mike Fagan, I was thinking the exact thing when he lost to Kretzer.. He showed that you don't have to be exciting, fist pumping and showing a ton of emotions to have the desire to win. You just go out there, be in your comfort zone, and just get the job done. That was the wrong type of statement for him to say because he doesn't know how Kretzer thinks mentally during a game. I actually thought that Kretzer had a good shot of winning because he had the most consistent shot out of the four bowlers in the first match.

Check out the interview with Fagan talking about Krietzer and saying that he was in essence mentally weak and didn't think Kreitezer wanted it more than Blemonte or Fagan and couldn't beat them because of it.  Of course Krietzer goes on to beat that multiple title winner, the oh-so mentally strong Fagan.  Seriously, what the hell has that guy done on tour to bad mouth Krietzer?

I did a double take when he said that. Please tell me espn baited him into it. I can't believe that just rolled off the top of his head.

It didn't appear to be bad mouthing so to speak.  To me, it sounded like Fagan was just saying that Kretzer was a little too laid back and not taking it quite as serious, although when Kretzer was interviewed (during the final match against Belmo), he flat out said that it's just the way he handles things.  He doesn't get outside of himself and really keeps his emotions buttoned down.  I can see how that can be misinterpreted, which Fagan seemed to have done.
