.. I didn't see one thread congratulating Chris Barnes today. There's a thread on him possibly choking, but give the guy some credit. I think he played very well the third game. He switched to, what looked to be, a Wrath High Flush, on the left lane, and a weakly drilled Momentum on the right lane. I love watching him bowl because his form is awesome! Congrats to him! I don't care what you call him. Good  luck bowler, choker, or whatever, he's still got a game, and you can't take that away from him!

Dang Sean. That's not nice. The show is over. Nothing wrong with "after the fact."

I felt like the way he played the third game was brilliant. Nothing else was working, so he tried something no one else did. Got him strikes on the right lane when it counted.

Congrats to Barnes.

Just because it aired live on TV doesn't mean everyone had the chance to watch it live.

once again after the show has aired, those who don't want to know results to avoid all communication within the community until they get a chance to watch the show.. because once the show has been aired, everything is fair game. Not my or anyone else's fault that you or whoever gets upset about people talking about the show missed the telecast.

but anyway, what a show, one of the best this year. Great bowling by Kenny, I hit the floor when Barney tripped the 4-9 because that was it! And then he left a 7 count and I was sure Kenny was going to clutch out.. KS will be back, he's got the  talent

To continue this stupid argument, if you miss the Superbowl, do you go to a football forum? If you miss a game of the World Series, do you go to ESPN.com? Why punish the people who had the time to watch the show and not let them talk about it? If you couldn't see it live, too bad. It's up to you to make sure you don't find out what happened if you want to go back and watch it on tape.

As for the show, I couldn't help but laugh my butt off when Barnes only needed 9 to win, and got 7, opening the door for him to lose. Crazy situation for a guy in his first telecast, I enjoyed watching Kenny bowl the whole show and it's a shame he couldn't finish it off!

Congrats to Barnes though. In my opinion, he didn't really win either match, but the other guy in each match lost it.

So here's the question, when is it safe to mention the winner of the show? No telling who has hasn't seen the telecast even at this moment. Should there be a rule to wait until after the ESPN Classic replay on monday? Should there be a rule in place to wait until PBA.com has the story on the front page?

I actually thought that's what this thread was originally about (Mushtare).

  • Be careful what you wish for...;)
I also try not to come on here until I've had the chance to watch the show.  But sometimes people want to check PMs or something about a drill layout, forsales or wtbs, So the Subject Line is the only thing that people who haven't watched the show yet are asking for.  Not that all discussion be stopped until everyone had a chance to watch.  The Subject line appears on the front page of this sight upon entry if it is one of the more recent posted or replied to.  Compromise, that's all.  But like I said, I really try to avoid BR.com until I've watched the show.

Agreed.  The world doesn't revolve around whoever missed the telecast and doesn't want to have his/her day spoiled by coming to BALLREVIEWS.com, A BOWLING SITE, and seeing RESULTS shown.  I mean it isn't like this site deals with bowling or anything.
