PBA Pro-Am Question
« on: January 16, 2005, 05:47:13 PM »
I have a question concerning the PBA Pro-Ams. My friend and I are looking into bowling in one of these in Atlanta. The problem is, my friend wants to bowl at one house with one group of pros, I want to bowl at the other house with a different group. The two centers look to be about 30 mins apart and the shifts are 4 hours apart. I was curious for anyone who has bowled in one of these as to how long it takes to complete, and if our plan is feasible enough to accomplish. Thanks for your help.

It depends on the format and how many bowlers they put on a lane.  I've bowled 2 so far and we were finished in about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs.  Both were 3-6-9 and we had 4-5 bowlers on a lane.  The other potential problem is starting on time.  One, in Vegas, started as scheduled.  The other, in Reno, started about 20 minutes late.
