It's pretty simple. These guys are:

1. The greatest bowlers in the world.
2. Bowling on great lane surfaces and pindecks.
3. Throwing atomic bombs, with layouts and surface preps by guys who know more about the balls than just about anybody.
4. They see these conditions on a regular basis and know when/how to adjust.
5. They have more physical "tricks" than anyone could dream of.
6. As a group, they can blow open a pattern with great rapidity, making the lanes play much easier than the oil pattern suggests it should.

Notice that the scores last week weren't nearly as good when bowling on a BAD lane surface (wood with Guardian).

You give bowlers of this ability level a little room to play with, they can get comfortable, and their execution is second to none. Result: mega-scores.

Wiseman's not only about to take a 3-2 lead, but he's got the front 9 en route to a possible you know what...

9/8 for Wiseman in the 10th for a 277 to Barnes' 249.

3-2 Wiseman. Good match.
