Here's a link to the Detroit Free Press article about yesterday's play at the Senior U.S. Open in Metro Detroit.

Notice how frequently these talented, versatile professionals refer to their equipment.

When I read this article I can't help remembering how some BR members insist that you should be able to use ONE BALL and ADJUST! Somebody is STUPID .. I wonder if it's OZIO!

Joe--
The bowlers who claim to be able to use one ball and adjust to all conditions and still bowl competitively are the ones I specifically had in mind when I posted that link.

quote:
Ron Byrd is the pro shop operator at Sterling Lanes, my home house.
I subbed seven weeks in a league at Sterling last season, and never knew who that was in the pro shop. Is he a good pro shop operator? There are some good pro shop operators around here, but there are a lot who have "attitude" that I can do without. It seems like most of the best are on the west side, and I say that as an east-sider.

I just got this as soon as I made that last post:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ad'
ActiveX component can't create object: 'ASPMail.ASPMailCtrl.1'
/includes/CDO.asp, line 11
To that I say,
Oh, yeah? Sez you!
