Its good news as long as you have access to Eurosport, which I and many others don't.

I did write to Channel 5 a while back in regards to the possibility of them showing PBA bowling as they were already covering quite a few US sports, but they could not be bothered to furnish me with anything other than a "Standard" response.

I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

I have access to Eurosport, and it doesn't look like I'm going go be able to watch this. Apparently there's a distinction between Eurosport 1 & 2 and Eurosport UK 1 & 2.

I'm particularly gutted about this.

Typical, its things like this that hold bowling back. Its now a bigger kick in the teeth seeing as Stuart Williams has qualified for the tour. Lets just hope we "Stumble upon" others ways to see some bowling.

I am really looking forward to it. The news have been confirmed by local authorities, I just hope they will have good commentators that tell a bit more than "They have special balls".

Yeah there is no change to the coverage on ESPN, just coverage on one of Eurosports channels as well to cater for Europe. However seeing as its a "Pay to view" channel, I cannot see many people who are from Europe siging up just because a bit of bowling is on it.

In regards to the commentators Dizzyfugu I agree, I know there is a need to "Educate" those new to the sport but they don't have to treat people like idiots. In your example a brief explanation of why the equipment we use is different would not go amiss, however I am not sure if that is coming from those in charge of "Directing" the commentators or the commentators themselves.

According to the PBA press release, they're going to show all of last seasons, and then show this seasons too.

I have since discovered that the first airing (that I could find) was Eurosport 2 on 23rd July I think about 11, but don't quote me on that. At least it's being shown.
