In all my years of bowling and watching bowling I have never ever seen anyone trip over their own feet like Pete did. What happened?
I think the bad start clearly rattled him, what do you think?

I'm not sure what's been going on with him, but he has looked so rattled on tv lately. Looks worse then someone making there first show.

He has been different period.  When was the last time he did a crotch chop or said something trying to intimidate an opponent?  He is being very gracious at his opps and even claps at his opponents after shots.  He clapped at his opponent for doubling in the 10th to beat him at his fathers tournament.  It is actually kind of cool to see.

i believe hes finally calming down on tv and maybe not the best for his bowling but hes gaining a lot of respect by doing so.

Seriously though, the last 2 shows he has looked so uncomfortable out on the lanes it is unreal! He looked today like he rushed darn near every shot to, and his timing did not look solid at all. I dont know whats going on. He is bowling great for the week and then not so hot on TV. And about the attitude... dont get boring PDW!!!!!!

He did the crotch chop last season in Japan when WRW won.  BAM-BAM-BAM on a five-bagger.  Then it all kinda went to crap.

If he'd've gotten that strike instead of the spare, the 8-count on the next shot would not have lost him count and he would have had 215 to tie with Shafer.  Better than a 7-count (3-6-10) towards the end of the game and he'd've won.

All I wanted to do was watch Pete bowl and Chris Barnes lose and I only got to see half of that because I didn't know the thing started a half an hour earlier.  Whoops!  I know Pete had some issues last time he was on TV and it is a bummer to read that he had some this time was well...

Watching Weber trip over his own feet was like Mikhail Baryshnikov tripping. I'm sure it doesn't happen too often.

Too me, it didn't look like either Shafer or PDW was getting good carry.  Some of their shots looked pretty good.  PDw's 2nd shot in the 10th left a 10 pin.  I thought that was his game when it hit the pocket.  Also, I was actually hoping to see the Gravity Shift thrown by at least one of em.

I taped the show and watched it later that night since I was bowling in the city tournament in the morning and afternoon.  It was like watching a replay of myself bowling that day!  I left wobbling 10 pins and stone 9 pins all day off shots that normally carry well for me.  (I DID somehow manage to shoot a 280 the first game of singles competition... that kinda off set my 186 that only featured one open frame and a ton of single pin spares)  That stone 10 PDW left was painful to watch.  Just a millimeter left or right at the breakpoint and that ball carries every time.  Brutal.

I think that he truly was nervous in his father's tournament last week, and then yesterday, I believe him and Shafer are pretty close, so maybe a reason to be a bit more calmer.

I agree, It was a shame to see PDW trip over his own feet.  I mean if he would have one that match against Ryan I truly believe that he would have beat Chris Barnes...  Also does anyone know what ball PDW and Ryan were throwing????
