PBA TOURNAMENT TONIGHT ON CBS SPORTS
« on: June 18, 2013, 02:26:11 PM »
I just received an e-mail from CBS Sports that the Lucas Oil Wolf Open will be televised tonight at 7 PM on their network. In my area (Bergen County, NJ), Cablevision carries CBS Sports on Channel 143.

The finalists are:  Pete Weber, Bill O'Neill, Chris Loschetter, Norm Duke, and a fellow named Tackett.

Isn't it ironic that bowling gets less respect here than almost any other country in the world where it is played.

It is so sad that the PBA couldn't have picked up about 5 more sponsors like Firestone back in the 70's. As it turns out the game got in a vicious cycle where casual fans lost interest as prize funds lagged, and sponsors ran away as viewership declined.
