Is anyone having trouble accessing the pba site? I can't seem to get on from some odd reason. Anyways can you post up the new standings for this weekends tournament.
Thanks,

The site always seems to lock up from time to time. It's very annoying. Weber,Williams and Angelo all lost. Duke and Monacelli won their opening matches as did Chris Barnes.
-
Ok thanks tonybowls, I still can't access the site but oh well I'll check later tonight or tommorow morning.

You're on dial-up, huh?
Don't view the "Round of 32 Scores" link. It's the page with all the frames and stuff. That page is 1.5 MB large. The site isn't hanging... it's just a slow-azz server and a terribly large file.
The PBA website is a disgrace. Some of the worse coding ever. The worse part about it is that they have a fulltime crew to do this. The photography sucks... the design sucks... the coding sucks... you name it and it sucks.
Sorry, I got on a rant. I lose project bids to chump designer/developers all the time and it bothers me when a company pays nothing for a website when they should be dropping bigger dollars on it.

That's only because of the Work warning threads................which is a very valid reason.

Tony, not disagreeing with you, but what coding are you referring to? I mean, you can't see the server-side scripts, so...
The fact that a site owned by a trio of ex-Microsoft guys is running a cgi-based forum is pretty funny, IMHO.

Chris Loschetter is one of the best younger bowlers in the country. I bowled against him in junior tournaments for years, it was more like looking up to him. He seemed to win em all. He went to Nebraska for 2 years and then transfered to FSU to finish school. He just graduated this winter, thats the reason he didn't go out for the first swing. He was on Junior Team USA two years in a row before going adult a few years ago. He has all the tools, he can play everything and is so good at knowing when to make the right moves. It would have been great to see him make his first show already this year, but i'm sure in the near future he'll be back in there.
