Pro's that use x-out balls?
« on: January 29, 2006, 09:23:07 PM »
why would they do this? Off of brunswickinsiders.com i got a picture of the balls chris barnes threw. Notice where the CG marker is, and then where the Serial Number is. Usually the serial number is under the CG, but the CG marking is very odd chaped so in guessing this is an x-out ball.  Why would he use it if something else could be wrong?

Looks like he's clipping the ring finger of the ball, though.
Is his track inverted?

The cg is slightly negative no big deal really for a high rev player, that marking in the palm is the cg marking on columbia stuff.

The streaks are not necessarily from contact with the lane, but Chris can throw LHed very well for a RHer.

The other thing that may not have been noticed is if that CG marker is where it is supposed to be that ball must be nearly illegal with that big of a weight hole on the positive side.

But, maybe he used that big of a weight hole to take the the sideweight back to negative.  Although its really difficult to tell how big the weight hole really is.
