Title: PBA Xtra Frame problems
Post by: jkiser01 on February 06, 2009, 11:37:14 AM: I am trying to watch tonight's live Xtra Frame matches and the audio and video keeps cutting on and off..

man, why can't they get this to work consistently..

Post by: scotts33 on February 06, 2009, 07:48:24 PM: I'd assume it's the antiquated bowling center feed. They've mentioned this before. Vegas not a problem you go to older bowling centers you've got problems.

But, agreed in this day in age with everything high tech.....one has to wonder.

Post by: Dan Belcher on February 06, 2009, 08:13:28 PM: It can also help if you change your buffering settings in Windows Media Player. Go to Tools, Options, Performance, and choose "Buffer (x) seconds of content" -- try different settings like 15, 30, or even 60 seconds. I set mine to 60 seconds earlier, and it made a world of difference.

If the provided connection at the center isn't good enough, they will also use their own setup from Verizon if I recall right.
