It looks like Scroggins can't be stopped.  This guy is just cleaning house.  That low rev release is the golden ticket to stardom and cash!

charlest: I'm with you, his comment was no big deal. Probably too close to the truth for many.

chi, don't get carried away now

Let's look at the points.

1 Tommy Jones
2 Wes Malott
3 Mike Scroggins
4 Norm Duke
5 Patrick Allen
6 Jason Couch
7 Mika Koivuniemi
8 Parker Bohn III
9 Mike DeVaney
10 Michael Machuga

Scroggins is the only player considered low rev.  I feel that if he were righthanded, his low revs wouldn't be successful.  This is not a knock on left handers.  It's just the way the patterns play on the right, you need to be able to hook it at some point during the transistions.  Mika learned how to do it, Machuga did it on his win and Duke can although they all can go very straight when needed.  Parker's having success now because he had to learn how to soften up at the bottom.  This may also explain part of Walter's issues this year (assuming it's not age and possible injuries).  The patterns seem like they are playing a lot tighter downlane.

I'm guessing that Scroggins release allows him to stay in his comfort zone and not have to deal with transistions as much.   Hard to beat someone, especially as good as they are,  when they can stay in their comfort zone.
