I guess the ball doesn't matter as long as the shot is easy.

There is a REASON some people scored better prior to the days of reactive resin.  Remember that Mark Roth was over 221 on Tour more than 30 years ago...and those were much longer events (in terms of games thrown) and seasons (in terms of events).
