I think that all the pro tournaments should use plastic balls. Technology has made bowling a joke. IMO, players should focus more on skill than crying about how their ball isn't reacting the way they want.
To me, reactive resin, urethane = aluminum bats that college players use
Plastic balls = wooden bats that pro baseball players use
If they are pros, they should have the difficulty of using plastic. Instead the pros get the most expensive and self-working balls on the planet. It doesn't make sense.
Also with plastic, you can see who really is the most accurate and best bowler. Reactive balls give you a larger range of error. Plastic balls give nearly none.
No weight block, just straight plastic is what the PBA should be about.
