Is the ball going to have a core or just some top weight?

As cheech said, unmarked plastic with pancake only. If you go to the PBA website, it will explain more in detail. Click on the link to the tournament.

Unmarked, as in, no logo? Because somebody said the spare ball Tommy Jones was throwing (with the PBA 50th anniversay logo stamped on the side) was the ball they are using this week. As such, then we'll see a logo spinning, either on the inside (lefties) or outside (righties). Of course, since it's plastic with a pancake core, then the ball could be flipped "upside down" and drilled so that the logo is inside for righties or outside for lefties, depending on the bowler's preference.
