He will ask them if he needs to switch balls or just adjust, you my friend have very special balls that will tell you what you need to do on the lanes.

If had not witnessed this first hand more than one occasion i would not have believed this myself.

Michael is my favorite bowler in the PBA. After his match with PDW at the Great Lakes Classic(?) a couple of years ago I always watch to see how he is doing week to week. I think he shows alot of class and humility that others on the tour could learn a thing or two from. Congratulations,Michael!!!!

As for as Barnes goes, it has been dissappointing to watch him lose to last two shows when he had the chance to play his A game and had the best look on the show.
I wanted to codemn him for a percieved lack of sportsmanship, however I am not sure how I would respond had I been in his shoes.

Not true.
Mike did not miss an easy spare. He just tried to use too strong a ball for too long. He did recover.

There was absolutely no excuse for Barnes to miss a 10 pin IN THE FINALS OF THE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS. Not one, not no how, not no where, NEVER.

Barnes is allowing his demons to build in strength; so that they will be almost impossible to overcome on TV. His sole remaining hope appears to be a 300. Future matches will not be between Chris and any opponent. They will only be between Chris and himself.

While he is not The Best in/on the PBA right now, he is certainly among the 4 - 8 best bowlers in all the exempt players. He is, as many have stated, probably one of the two best technicians on the Tour: he and Duke are the 2 best right now.

Just bowled with michael in a Regional he is very nice super nice...

i had the pleasure of crossing with michael haugen, jr., back in october at a regional in springfield, missouri. we were on the same pair for sunday's qualifying. i had a great look and reaction on saturday. during shadow balls my look was horrible but i kept trying. as we bowled our 5 games he was the ultimate professional-----serious when it was his turn yet he would congratulate you when you made a good shot. there was a time during the 4th and 5th games where we each had a 4 or 5 bagger with several tripped fours each. we kidded each other about that. when we were done i wished him luck on the upcoming season and he asked me what my plans were----i told him i was going to go home and practice. he said that's great that you're not giving up. mike has to be one of the classiest guys i've met at the regional tournaments i've bowled.
