Richard Wolfe has never won a singles title, right? Always love to catch him on ESPN Classic from time to time. The guy was so fluid and so smooth, really shocks me that he never won on tour.

Brian Kretzer - Stylist?? No Way.

Brad Angelo - I like watching Brad bowl - he has a great release and will win soon - but a stylist he is not. The pause in the swing and the stutter/timing step disqualify him from the "pretty" group.

Chris Loschetter - Not yet - he hasn't settled on a "style" yet. He looks different every time I've seen him on TV.

Now - back to the real stylists who've never won a Singles title:

How could I forget - Gil Sliker. Talk about snake-bit. I figured him for 2 or 3 titles at least - but it just never seemed to happen.

Don't get me wrong. Rhino Page is amazing, but he is the farthest thing from "Pretty" or "Classic Stylist". Have you seen him bowl? He has horrible form, but all that matters is hitting the flat spot and hitting your mark, and he does that very well.

He's like a smoother Jason Couch though.  Couch's timing is painful to watch, but I like the guy.

Well, his attitude on tv these last few times.  I don't know why he decided to turn into a hardass on tv, but after getting to be around him for a week a few months ago, he's just about the nicest guy on tour next to Parker.

Paul Fleming was also very good and had many chances for a title.

Brad Angelo is good but his attitude i dont like.

I can't find Wunderlich's singles Title. Which was it?
I know the PBA site lists two titles, and I know one of them was a Doubles title, but what the heck is the other? The 85 ABC Masters title didn't count.

Of the guys that have been out there long enough to have done something by now, Richie Wolfe and it's not even close.

When you start adding some of the guys that have just come onto the national scene in the last 5-8 years, you can add Jeff Carter, Joe Ciccone and some others. I bowled a pro-am with Ciccone and Randy Weiss and both of them are butter-smooth but no titles.

Wolfe's career window may be closing, though, so whereas Ciccone, Carter and others still have a chance to win, Wolfe might not.

Fleming would be a great choice as would Carter, both you watch and say how the he11 does either not have at least 3-4 titles apiece. It just proves how good the tour guys are, they would both pound most of us in the ground.

I believe Richard Wolfe is the answer also!

REgarding Paul Fleming....I believe he has beautiful looking form but with an actual structural flaw.

Sort of like Tommy Aaron in golf who people loved his form...and he did win the Masters but in general the beauty of his form did not have a solid foundation.

Another guy on tour with that same type of beauty of style in golf was Larry Mize!

Glad to see someone mentioned Joe Firpo.  That guy has a golden armswing.  I've met him a couple times, and he's a god guy off the boards too.  He won a doubles event with Del Warren, and he came close with some TV appearances in the 90's (there was a tournament he lost to Phil Ringener on a crushed-solid 9 pin that is most memorable to me).

Kenny Simard has a really good looking shot that is hard to appreciate unless you've seen it in person.  Solid at the line, a ton of revs.  Really nice and hard to criticize.  Otherwise, he's a jerk.

Richie Wolfe has got gold in his approach.  Solid.  I've talked to him between squads a few times and he's really a nice guy when you get him off the game as well.  I can't imagine he's going to go forever without winning a title.

I have a vote for Joe Firpo.  I have bowled with him and he does bowl in my league on Wednesday Night.  If you go to LeagueSecretary.com go to Georgia and then Atlanta Fun Center, there, you will find 2 well known names to the bowling world.  Joe Firpo and Lisa Wagner.  It is so cool to be in their presence and have the chance to pick at their brains a little and hear the stories of when they were on tour.  BTW.....Joe IMO is smoother now than when he was on tour.
