All I am saying is that you can't just walk into a new environment and big the top dog. you have to cut your teeth all over again.

this applies to many things other than bowling. and I don't think anyone needs to mock him or rub in his face. maybe he thought that it was a bit more friendly here and could share some feats with people who understand.

I don't recall him answering anybody's else post of greatness with "well so what I did this yada yada..."

just maybe the jealous have more to say sitting on a couch. I would not jump on his band wagon either way. but you have to credit where credit is due and recognize the hard task it is to move to a new pond where you are not the big fish.

as I said I see this in all forms of life. ever see a company change it's focus and maybe sell some new product and drop an old one. people with 20 yrs experience with a certain widget will move to a new company instead of throwing specific knowledge on the scrap heap and start over.

that is what his doing. nothing but shooting on PBA events will prepare you for PBA events. reading lanes is no where close to the same things.

I know a bowler who has a phonon but can't make the cut( in the post urethane era) because he doesn’t read the lanes right. In the squad  before me he told me they were tight and speed sensitive. he was going with forward roll and up the boards- 2nd arrow. other lefty's were swinging across 3rd and 4th arrow out to 10 at the breakpoint with room!. he shot low 2's and they shot 230's. this guy has all the skills in the world except the humility to seek a great coach.

so to sum up. give the guy a break. wait until a couple of years of failure before you condemn him to be a house hack.
