Saturday July 2nd at 12:00 pm King Pin Lanes in Springfield, Il will be hosting the 2005 PBA Wild Turkey Bourbon Midwest/Central Region Mary Teubner Memorial Open presented by Storm Qualifier tournament. Entry fee is $85.00 and will be 8 games across 8 pairs of lanes. PBA pattern #3 will be used ( same as the regional itself ) with a Kegel Sanction machine with Kegel defense oil. PBA rules and dress codes will be in effect. Top 2 finishers will receive paid entries into the actual regional and the prize fund is as follows ( based on 40 entries ) :
1st - $400 + paid entry
2nd - $300 + paid entry
3rd - $300 + entry ( for non members )
4th - $250 + entry ( for non members )
5th - $200 + entry ( for non members )
6th / 10th - $100 + entry ( for non members )

I will be reserving 10 spots in the regional for non-members. Since this is a joint regional it should fill at 144 bowlers. That means that if you are a non-member and want to bowl the regional you must bowl the PTQ to qualify for a spot. If anybody wins a paid entry for finishing 1st or 2nd,and declines the spot, i will add $250 to the prize list to cover the cost of the entry. Prize fund breakdown is as follows ( based on 40 entries ) :
40 entries @ $85.00 - $3400.00
lineage - $450.00
Charity Donation - $500.00
2 PBA entries - $500.00
Prize Fund - $1950.00

Check in will be 30 minutes prior to start of PTQ.

The biggest change from last year is this year PBA members that are not in the Top 25 on the Midwest PBA point List are now eligible. This is a great opportunity to bowl on the tournament pattern in advance, make some extra money and have a chance to win a paid entry.
