Rash uses semi fingertip grip?
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:25:32 AM »
watching the show you can see sean puts his fingers very deep into the ball. i was wondering if anyone else noticed this and if anyone knew about a semi fingertip drill.

I know someone who uses a semi style fit on an insertless setup. He uses a soft bevel, shorter span, and im not sure about the pitch.

Semi grips are popular in the northeast, but theyre used in full fingertip drilling. They are the inserts (first offered in purple) with the large hump in them. Now they come in a 2-n-1 pattern with "lifts".

Last I knew it was awhile back but Sean uses fingertip, with no grips I believe. Basically the finger holes are pretty big and deep so the digs them in there and they come out just enough to get his thumb in.. Like I said that was last I knew. Also last I knew he uses ALOT of bevel on the front edge of the thumb. Probably a mold.

My proshop has a ball on display that Rash has used and he has some big ole paws on him.  He does not use inserts for his fingers, just big finger holes.
