WOW this guys throws an awesome looking ball and  really versatile too.  He is National touring Brunswick staffer from New York I believe.  Well anyway he was down in the southern region this weekend and wow this guy has such a nice swing and ball roll it was fun to watch.  Bonus was Tommy Jones was there also and he drew Fagan in the first round of Match Play it went to 5 games with Tommy finally taking it after neither one of them could really get much going.  Awesome event and some great talent.

Fagan does use the sarge easter grip as well, I over heard him talking about it and he said basically for him it didn't affect revs or tilt or rotation that much it just cuts down on the stress on his hand.  I also got to see the rampage and smokin in action both balls looked really sweet.

ALso another big congrats to Ronnie Horton on his first title for anybody thats reads this.  Great bowling Ronnie well deserving of it.

My freshman year of college we were right next to Fagan during the INFAMOUS Ball through the masking unit.  One of the most impressive things I've ever seen, forget the 19mph 500rpm strikeball.

I've seen Fagan the few times he's come out to bowl a NEBA in the last couple of years.  Really impressive to watch how effortless the revs are for him.

I know fagan a little on the personal side, he has one of the sickest arm swing on tour. A trully nice guys and also fun to watch. he can play the twig on both sides of the lane.

I saw tommy jones at Hawthorn lanes in person (when the chicago open was held there back in november i think) and he's actually a pretty small guy, for his size it's amazing that he can generate the ball speed that he does.
We all bowled the shark pattern and i only had my frenzy with me. Needless to say, i was f'd! -

-side question - how do you guys control a backswing that is two feet above your shoulder?! Do you throw 13lb equipment or something - sheesh

I'll never forget when my coach told me this:

"It doesn't matter how much hook you have, you can throw a one board hook for all i care, as long as you can consistently get to the pocket and carry!"

It was the last ball of the night(albeit at about 3am when the squad finished) and his teammates "Dared" him that he couldn't loft the ball to the pin deck(he had previously lofted the ball abbout 45-50 feet trying to convert the greek church and 7-10 split).  So on his fill ball, he takes a running start, Chucks the ball airborne and a big "WHOOOOOOOA" came across everyone within 5 pairs left and right of them as they saw a ball a good 10-15 feet in the air going about 20mph heading for what seemed to be over the masking unit at the time but crashed right through it as debris and all fell on the lane.  There was a mixture of laughter, cheering, and obscenities in the crowd as Fagan stood at the foul line with a priceless expression on his face as his teammates were cheering and yelling.  Fagan started walking back to the pit as the tournament director stood at the back of their pair, Fagan then gave us this priceless quote:

"Sorry, had too much tape in the thumb"
