Will this make a difference in whether and how much you and others bowl in PBA Regionals?

The 11th Frame: PBA Midwest Region gets OK to test lower entry free, 1-day Regionals

I've heard the rumblings about this for a few months now. I think it's a good move, and, yes, it'll probably compel me to try one or two of these here and there when they're in my area. Currently, I just bowl ABT events. I'm not a big fan of handicap, and I dislike the unpredictability of the conditions; however, I can bowl 2-3 ABT events for the cost of one PBA Non-member entry. Lowering the entry fee lessens that gap. Although I'm nowhere near talented enough to compete at the PBA level, I've always enjoyed the events I've bowled in. I love the atmosphere, and I've learned a lot even in failure. This move will make me get back to bowling a few of these here and there. I hope others will do the same.

The price has been has kept me from entering more Regionals over the years. As a Non-Member it still is a little high to me(I like your idea Riggs for Non-Member payout) but I might have to give Oak Forest a try again this Summer. I really enjoyed the one I bowled a few years ago.
