The only thing is, I'm looking all around the PBA's website, and I see the schedule (A Squad 8AM B Squad 1:30PM) But I've searched all the FAQs and all that and I can't really seem to find an exact format of how this works. How many games are shot? How many make it to the semi-finals?
Also, I expressed some concerns about the "double jump" method of bowling to someone I know has thrown their fair share of regionals, and he explained it to me, but then said that there is a meeting for first time regional bowlers that explains it in detail. When does this meeting for the new regional bowlers usually take place?
If anyone can provide some information, it'd be greatly appreciated. Getting more and more excited for it by the minute!

Double jump is pretty simple to follow. A person on your pair will bowl then 1 bowler from each pair from your left and right will go before somebody on your pair will throw a shot.

Non-member meetings are done immediately after roll call and even if you are a member and haven't bowled I reccomend sticking around and listening.
The double-jump rule isn't as bad as what everyone thinks. It goes quite smoothly if you are ready to bowl when it's your turn. You'll figure it out.

I've been working so hard for this. Confidence is definitely at an all time high.
Only thing that (I can't really say I'm worried) is an interesting note is that the Shark is the pattern they're putting out, and that's the only PBA shot I haven't bowled on. I've been watching videos and reading up on everything that I can about the pattern, but I decided I'm not going to search for anyone putting the shot down this close to the tournament, because I want to go in there with a clear mind, not thinking "oh, I nailed this shot last time I bowled on it" or "oh, I did horrible on this shot last time."

One pair courtesy is actually more favorable, in my opinion. You'll learn to like it. Just wait for someone on the pair to the left and right of you to throw a ball before you go up to throw your ball.

I repeat.
DON'T OVER PRACTICE during this session.
Get used to the approaches.
Try different parts of the lane.
The shot won't play EXACTLY like it will during qualifying.
So don't assume what strikes on friday will strike on saturday,

Another thing I thought of. I know you can't talk to people because it's considered "coaching," but can I bring a notebook down on the lane and write my findings in it, or is that also a "no no?" (It also has notes of different things I've been working on, and where I play on patterns in certain houses, etc)
