I am sure he is spending his 40 large right now not worrying about exemption or having a job for another year. Let the guy have his due, i dont love the way his rolls the ball but he has more heart and wants to win. I would take a bowler like him anyday over a guy who rolls it great but thinks he deserves to win every time he is on TV. Del just did not catch a break but he knew that ritchie was right on his heels, ritchie had the heart to try another ball if it worked great or if it failed at least he went down trying.

Brian Himmler didn't bowl the Dick Weber Open after winning the week before. I assumed he was injured.

As for Richie Allen, he hinted that he wanted to take some time off in a few weeks, so maybe he's just getting a head start on it.

Maybe its mental, most people have no idea whats it like to win a PBA title. I think he may be mentally drained. Throwing three in the 10th to sweep series in league pales in comparasion to bowling out on tour. This is their life, mortgages, car payments, families, etc hinge on bowling. This board truly is something else.

Chuck Norris doesn't bowl strikes, he just knocks down one pin and the other nine faint.

Amen this is there life's work, i wish i could compete on this level but i honestly know i stink. It took alot of guts to make a big ball change like that and be able to bury every shot like he did.

I was not a huge fan of his but watching him struggle to get too the top again, i started to like him more and more. I could care less for a bowler looks like, its there heart and talent for the game i admire the most.

Bagging on a pro is kind of rediculous.

Then why pay the entry fee?  Unless it's just so that he gets paid for this week.  In that case, that's pretty cheesy, as it denies that spot to someone else.
