Nice to see(even though on a technicality) that the PBA finally has a black exempt touring player.  Should be a great season, everyone on the PBA forums says he's really really good, and left handed.  Hopefully he and Kelly make a few shows to get more people watching this season.

Does Billy know?  Someone I know talked to him Sunday and not only did he not mention it, he said he had other plans entirely.

Billy O is the real deal and yes he left handed. I wish him the best of luck, and I am sure you will here his name quite a bit for the upcoming season. This may inspire all the other great African-American bowlers to give the tour a try.

Wow...this is some news...I've bowled against Billy and have had the privilege to watch him bowl plenty of times...he has a tremendous game and I could definitely see him going out and winning...hopefully he has the opportunity to come out and bowl (to what kmanestor22 said)

I bowl and practice with Ritchie all the time.  He has a fracture in one of the joints in his ring finger.  He can still bowl but with alot of discomfort.  Doctor suggested he take some time off....

question:

How did Ritchie Allen hurt his hand? Did he punch a scoring monitor again? That's what did him in 5 years ago on tour with his temper. Or is it unbowling related?

Next,

This exemption tour is a good idea but very flawed. Again for the 3rd time, Paul Flemming gets screwed. First the Tony Reyes not getting enough points and makes tour by winning a gimmick contest ( The final Frame ). Then Mitch Beasley in the SW region defered his exemption till 07 and now this garbage. Someone justify why Oatman deserves to be on tour over the guy that WAS on tour? Unfair rules if you ask me.

Ok, I can somewhat understand the Mitch Beasley deal. But what does Ritchie Allen have to do with Billy Oatman? Ritchie Allen won tour trials and won an exemption. Since this happened after tour trials and can't make another tour trial spot, then isn't it obvious Paul Flemming should get the spot!?

Why should paul get the spot, Billy was runner up regardless. I have personally bowled against billy and he is a tough bowler. I had to bring it to come close to him when we bowled so I look forward to seeing him give the fellas out there a hard time.

Don't know the answer to the question, but surely you realize that not all hand injuries resulting from bowling are temper-related.  I could show you some MRI scans if you truly believed otherwise...
