strikecing and necro are prime examples of why bowling is dying. They think playing the gutter is up 10 and lofting the gutter cap is versatility.
By the way strike Walter Ray lapped the field at the Cream of the Crop in Florida a few years back lofting the gutter cap, but I guess since he hasn't done it on one of the manicured patterns on TV he's not versatile.
Robert Smith is to bowling what Mark Wohlers was to baseball
For those who don't follow baseball he was the closer for the Braves when they won their World Series in 95'. He threw SMOKE.....was clocked in the minors over 100mph. He was consistently in the high 90s and was forced out of the game because of control and shoulder issues.
He isn't one of the best pitchers ever....he was simply a gifted athlete. Robert Smith is a gifted athlete, but saying he is on the cusp of being one of the best ever is just plain stupid.
