Good for Robert!  I hope he makes a terrific showing in the Open and saves his exemption...and that he regains his good health.

Throwing Storm and RG should help make up for any handicap he may have as a result of the back and hips.

Earlier this season, he said, and I quote, "The good thing [about Elite] is there isn't a lot of stuff for me to get confused over. I can just throw the ball and they work."

Mr. Smith, 13th after the first 7 game set.  Lookin like a good move for him.

The move to free agent probably has more to do with the rumor that Elite will not Product register next season making all the balls Robert would have to use be ineligible for use.

I was at the Long Island Classic today.  I watched Robert up close.  His multiple 3 ball totes right in front of me.  He had:  Hammer Acid, Cell Pearl, 2nd Dimension, Sauce, cherry vibe, and I forgot #6.  I saw him throwing the Acid, then the Cell Pearl mostly.  He told me Elite decided not to re-up with the Tour next year, so he is moving on.  He told me Tony Reyes gave him a few Hammers, and he likes the storm/ roto stuff he's been throwing.

BTW Roberts finger pitches are one full inch reverse, no grips...you gotta see these things.

I love to watch Mr Smith, so it would be awesome if he signed back with storm as I am a storm fan

I'm not downing elite because I'm sure they are a decent up-n-coming company, but 500 rpms with big b covers wasn't exactly a great idea. In watching him at the ultimate scoring championship, I know he was hurt, but it just didn't look like he was matching up with them. I think the move to roto/storm will be great. Even hammer of ebo.

Whatever he's throwing appears to be good for him.

Opens match play with 799 (256-244-299).
