Both have officially withdrawn from the U.S. Open in the middle of the 2nd round of match play. Anybody know what happened?

You can only assume a serious, very painful injury would make them withdraw in the middle of the 2nd round of match play, no matter how badly they might have been doing.

Robert has had knee, hip, and back problems for the last 5-6 years so i imagine its one of those. Mike's reason, I have no idea.
