Yes, he still bowls that way.  Ron bowls in one the houses I bowl at in Ft Worth.  He still has the same jacked up looking arm swing he had when he was on tour.  Last season he was carrying a 230+ avg in the scratch league last time I checked.

Ron is a great bowler and person. He bowls in my Friday night league and is still holding on to a 240 average from last I checked. Usually hits around 230. Still bowls pretty much the same way from the early 90's and late 80's but I think he uses more speed on the ball. He's had some incentive with Storm for years now and likes to use low to mid aggressive balls. He really seems to do well no matter the condition and noticed the drier the lanes he just dominates. He was my influence to  get a minor elbow bend and I became a better bowler but I don't use that wicked of a armswing like Ron does.

Oh and thanks for that link. I'm a big fan of R.Williams and Coffman. I have a few shows of Ron on DVD and tape. I'm still looking for his AC Delco win in 92.

i'm not surprised that ron williams would do better on drier lanes due to his release being more spin than roll plus he used to loft the ball a great deal.

Brian,

Ron Williams won the AC-Delco in '90 and '93.  Marc McDowell won it in '92.
