Ciminelli on TV, Again
« on: March 19, 2010, 03:30:54 PM »
This kid made it to TV again, from TQR.  This format was/is pretty tough too I'd say.  I hope he can break on through and win #1 this weekend.

I'm gonna venture a wild wild guess, and say he is piping urethane up the gutter

+1

Yeah IF he makes the tv finals he will be using urethane on the cheetah pattern, but he might actually have to use resin on the shark. He would have to burn a big hole in the shark pattern and sand the hell out of the natural to get it to work. I guess its possible but his ball speed might not be as high as normal.

Pretty sure Ciminelli can strike with more than urethane up the twig.  You've seen him make two shows and he threw urethane for 2 games...doesn't mean that's all he throws.

On Xtra frame last night he was throwing resin on Cheetah pattern, im not sure what it was.  He was also throwing a Mutant Cell on the Shark, both looked really good.

Was it Cheetah and Shark for the oil patterns in qualifying too, or did they use a different set of patterns?

Think it is Kretzer and Allen Tommorow.

You don't have to think, that is correct.

yea was watching on xtra frame, they screwed up the lanes, the right lane to be exact and had to stop them in practice to re-run them. Looks like it played tons tighter and it got in his head. couldnt throw his natural on it like he did all week, and was actually throwing an invasion.
