Round of 16
« on: November 16, 2007, 05:20:45 AM »
Is just getting under way!!!

A couple of interesting matchups here Rash vs. Mika and Weber vs. Shafer.  I guess the good news here is if Pete wins he will not have to face Walter in the Round of 8.

Any thoughts?

He'd better, Pete's on my fantasy team and I don't have to worry about WRW knocking him out again.

He CAN beat Barnes, but will he? Barnes may make 1 game look tough on TV, but I'd hate to be in a best of 7 with the guy.

The same could easily be said about Pete.  I think it'd be a good match to watch.

Here's the show I'm hoping for-

Jaros
Double D
Haugen
Weber

Weber vs. Haugen in a rematch of the strikefest they had a few years ago.

Jaros may be a little bland, but he shows how a very simple style can be incredibly effective.  I just like watching him bowl.

Does anyone know what Haugen is using these days?  I thought it was AMF but I could very well be wrong.

I am actually really pulling for Todd Book to beat Walter Ray.  I like seeing new people on the show.

Haugen is throwing AMF, according to Eric Thomas. I believe AMF has a full registration this year...but I could be wrong on that.

Why no love for Jaros?  What's not to like?  He throws a great ball, he's amiable, open to fans...I mean, if you don't like him, you basically don't like bowling.
