Round of 8
« on: December 16, 2005, 09:59:26 AM »
Scores are ridiculously high.  Machuga shot 3 and there has been 2 279's a 278, and a 268 all in the first 2 games.  Should be a good show to watch Sunday.

300 again!!! Machuga is on an absolute rampage. I wonder what he is throwing? Potential for Scroggins and Shafer to make the show again, one word, snooze.

I am actually hoping Chris Collins to pull through with the win. I am really wanting to know what that guy can do on tv. It would also be very nice to see Jack Jurek make the show. I watched JJ at a regional and I really like what he does.

Hopefully future Team USA.

I would like to see Collins as well. For all the old-schoolers whose cages get rattled when Pete Weber makes the show, Collins is a different animal.

Suppossedly the Scorpion pattern...not easy according to description.

Of course AMF beds...they are just better until brunswick came out with their new higher friction anvilanes about a year or so ago.  Or at least my impression.

Watching the scoring Jurek a 4 count in the tenth. Ouch that's going to hurt in that tight match.

I'm still pullin for Tommy D. Comin off the injury + he has always done pretty well especially regionals in the Capital District. Machuga because he is tearin it up and fun to watch. Jack is a nice guy but a bore to watch unless the twig is playin. Was happy to see the Am make match play. Chris bowled very well and glad to see him get some press.

Off to game 7 for Choogs and Collins. Looks like Collins just may have the advantage right now.

So far looks like we have Mike Wolfe, Jack Jurek and Scroggins.  And after tearing it up in qualifying and averaging in the 260s for his first 10 games of match play, Mike Machuga has fallen off.  His once commanding 3-0 lead has now been degraded to him fighting to stay alive in the upcoming game 7.

And Collins will be the man on TV.  Choogs just couldn't keep up the pace.
