Round of 8
« on: November 17, 2006, 11:53:30 AM »
I'd like to see the stat but I bet this is the first time the top 8 seeds after qualifying all made it to the round of 8.  And with Duke through, that's 1 out of the top 4 seeds into the show.  Looks like Mika will get through to make the top 2 seeds get to the show.  I'd like to see Haugen make the show.

PS - Haugen is on AMF staff.  He was using a Radar Lock last week in Buffalo, along with a freshly drilled Nighthawk Menace.

Steve Rogers is a regional pro from my town. I've bowled with and against him quite a bit. His personality is a little bit different, but he does have game. I hope he makes the show. I guarantee one thing; he'll certainly ham it up for the crowd. He's up 3-1 right now. If holds of Jurek, look for an entertaining show on Sunday!

I think Norm is going to be hard to beat.  Somehow, I see Mika vs Norm in one semi seeing that they are the top 2 scorers out there right now.  It is nice to see Haugen back in the mix as well.  Should be a fun show to watch.

I didn't ck the oil pattern & no knock on anyone, but by looking at the line-up, I'd say straight is great in this one.

Rev,

The gutter seemed to be the best place to be. If you went inside, you had to be just about perfect or you were screwed. While the ditch isn't always fun to watch, it's the place to be out there this week. Plus, why are you only bagging on Haugen? I'd bet anything that Norm and Mika are trying to play out there as well.

I like Haugen. Fiery Intense kind of guy, he's come a long way with his game. Will be tough to be Duke who was as dominating this week as any bowler I have seen in a long time. Should be a good show.

I watched the round of 64....he wasn't up the ditch....he was up like 7..8..9...firing bullets...I dunno if it was the radar of radar lock (since someone said he was on AMF's staff...didn't know they were back on the PBA)...but the ball on Thursday had a silver tint to it...so ya'll can guess from there...
