Viper Championship

Wont say who won, don't want to be a buzz kill.

But on the interviews, does Rash know that he sounds like a pompous azz when he is talking about his other competitors?

Why does he have to put the other bowlers down?

PDW chirped a lot during his matches but I don't recall him every saying anything disparaging about his opponents or other bowlers in general during matches or in interviews.  I could be wrong.

Back in the day when PDW was on TV a lot, he chirped, crotch chopped and really got the crowd going but all in a respectful manner.

Rash's interview, especially the comments about Williams was equivalent to a batter stepping up to the plate, pointing to the outfield calling a homerun and then striking out.  :)

I use whatever ball works for me.

The way I see it is he is just putting more pressure on himself to beat the guy he was ragging on.

Why do that to yourself when your already in the biggest spotlight in bowling.  TV that is.

He does the same thing every house hero in America does (meaning most that post on here).  He just has the stones to say it in front of the camera.  He's confident that he's the best....and he isn't afraid to express that opinion.  I'm pretty sure most of the other elite players out there share similar opinions, they just keep it in private.

Little known fact:  In Russian "Hope" and "Change" translate to "Tax" and "Spend"

There's what you say and there's how you say it.  Rash came off like a punk.  There's a fine line between confidence and being cocky and in my opinion, he's usually on the wrong side of it.  Like when he got in the face of the college player a few years ago on the telecast that had a college player, the PBA star, the female pro, and the senior.  Screaming like an idiot when he threw a few terrible shots, smashed the face and carried.  Late in the game and you throw a few good shots that set you up good, sure, let it loose, but not in the second frame when you threw it terrible.

Telling it like it is.

I am so sick and tired of Rash.   Own up to making  a poor shot and stop bitching at the people for moving.  What a baby.  PBA is loving it though.  Seems like he is the new bad boy.  LOL   He is an ass and I much enjoy him losing every time he makes a show.

I have never met the man, but I thought that was quite obvious a few years ago. It was the tournament in Baltimore where he faced Danny Wiseman, who was coming off multiple injuries and making his first show in a few years, and is from Baltimore. When Rash threw the strike that shut him out he clapped his hands and shouted "Who's your hometown hero now!", classless to the Nth degree.

Ahhh, it's no different when Shooter McGavin thought that Happy Gilmour couldn't carry his clubs let alone beat him on the "Tour".

I love it.  People hate it when players and coaches just bring out the cliches but they get some honesty and go into fainting spells.  Curious how everybody forgets that Williams was asked the same thing and said they'll never be fans of each other and then played it coy.  So you guys liked that better than Rash being candid?  Wow.  Really?

Don't believe in the Uzi, it just went off in my hand.  I, I believe in love.

I see your problem Sunshine, you don't know the difference between a movie and real life.

And just for the record, I haven't seen and since no one has posted it here, read what Rash said. I am basing my opinion on the show I mentioned. There was no excuse for saying what he said and it was classless.

Oh, I definitely know real life from the movies.  You can't make up the stuff that happens in real life.  You know, like people getting bent about somebody being really good at what they do and being cocky about it.  Never happens in real life.  Right?  I'm sure the two non-Americans felt really good about eliminating Rash.  Some call it just desserts, some call it sports.  Get over it.

Thank you! I'm tired of his ass too. The the poster that started this topic, don't be afraid of telling who the winner is. People....it's a fk'n taped event. The demise of the PBA! Only poker would tape delay a sport (if you want to call it that). I don't know what is more pathetic: The PBA having taped delayed shows to "save money" as they say or people bitching on this website or PBA.com about people spoiling the outcome. I'm thinking about spoliers next week. I already know every outcome when the tournament actually happened in real life. But many of you are so stupid and naive you actually think the shows are happening in real life. You must be democrats or something.
