I'm glad Amletto is back bowling.  I knew he took the past weeks off from an injury. I hope he can make it to the finals.

What the heck happened? Did they change the shot.

All of sudden tons of people are AVERAGING 240 - 250 for 4 games????
And don't tell me these are the best; only 2 or 3 of the best averaged that for any 4 game block out of the first 18 games.
Something's changed, BIG TIME!

Nothing changed other than a fresh shot.  Keep in mind they all only got fresh twice and the transitions were very fast with the amount of bolwers on each squad.  I guarentee there was a lot of sand soakers being used before today by people not used to this pattern.  by the end of the block today the average will still be only about 220 max.

Sorry I don't buy that.
All had fresh oil for 2 out the 3 6-game blocks. None of them scored this well or this consistently. In fact few scored this well on the 2nd shift.

think of it this way... these guys know how to break down the shot with a lot less bowlers playing on them.... its to the pros advantage to know what to do in the later qualifying, if they are not having  squads all day it makes the lanes play differently and they follow the breakdown, they will also play different by having the same hundred guys bowling on them for nine games straight as opposed to two different squads in those amount of games...
