Sammy, if you've read my journals throughout the year i've stated my concerns for both sides. I dont just "complain" when the left has the advantage, i am also vocal when the left is shut out. The problem is that there is no middle ground. The left either has it or they dont.
I would really love to see the patterns force bowlers on both sides to play the lanes the same. That means when the righties have to play 5th-6th arrow, so should the lefties. The problem that i see, and this is strictly my opinion, is that the lefties either get to play left of 10 or they are "shut-out". The problem lies within the environment. If you never have to play the lanes a certain way, you arent going to be very competitive at it. Personally i have no problem when the lefties are bowling well, if they are bowling well. But when the right has hang outside of 10 and the lefties have bank off of the gutter, i have a problem.
I realize that this is a very touchy subject with a lot of people, but it's something that needs to be addressed in a bad way. The way i see it, the only solutions are :
Make the lefties cross together or at least follow each others cross
Make the patterns "non-symetrical". Theres no reason for them to by symetrical
Ban all lefties and make them play tennis !!! ( just a joke...could you imagine couch in shorts
)
