PBA Patch Adhesive

Anyone know a way to safely remove the adhesive the PBA patches leave behind that won't affect the shirt?

GooBeGone may work. I have used it before. A lot depends on how much adhesive is there and how long it's been there.

I tried GooBeGone and it did not work very well at all. Our former regional manager runs a shirt and embroidery shop. He has the professional stuff that dry cleaners use. And of course, a dry cleaner can get it off.

Starting fluid(ether) works. The best method is to soak the patch with the starting fluid and most of the glue will come off with the patch. What remains can be removed with a soft bristle brush and some more starting fluid.
NOTE: STARTING FLUID IS FLAMMABLE WHEN WET.

If you go to most home improvement stores, they carry a product called Motzenbachers Lift-Off adhesives (liquid form), and it will take ground gum out of shag carpet.  Amazing stuff.
