Can you imagine the show being Scroggins...Shafer...Kretzer...and Harman?

They might black it out and let the TV crew have the day off....let's hear it for some upsets.

Kretzer hooks it because he throws it 11mph...not impressive.  I can play 6th arrow on everything too if I want...he's about as versatile as a rock.

Personally I enjoyed the show - liked it best when the bowlers that made the show were all competing against each other at the same time.

In the step ladder format there is a disconnect between making the show and the audience seeing that each bowler had to compete against the field.

When it got down to just two bowlers I actually like it less - LOL

It was different but I enjoyed it as well. NEXT TIME I'll keep a score sheet .. although they showed the RECAP I sort of lost tract of what the bowler did last frame .. they should show the score sheet on the bottom of the screen each time the bowler is up .. IMO!

Versatility isn't the ability to just throw it in one area...it's being good at it.  Mike Fagan, Tommy Jones, Barnes all had to learn it when they went out there, Kretzer is finally learning after years of trying to play left of everyone all the time that in match play you bowl on fresh.

yes you can play 6th arrow on everything too, just not 1/2 as good as kretzer can. this is why the PBA conditions are a joke, he can't make a show doing what he's great at but he essentially uses his spare release and makes a show. that's not versatility...that BS lane conditions!

I definitely second that motion, Scroggins whiffs a second 7-pin of the day and Kretzer is too scared to change balls and move in and do what he does best.   It was obvious he was thinking about it during the title match due to the way he shot a couple of spares, he should've just made the change.  It couldn't have been any worse then what he was doing.  

IMHO,  the front of the lane was going in the zone he was playing in and the hold spot he had been using was gone.   That was probably the worst title match I've seen on TV in a while.  I should've turned it off when Wes and Osku were eliminated.

Kretzers' 'straight' game was awful!  He definitely should'a gone with the hook.

Throwing the ball with the fingers on the side and pulling across the face on every shot is not the way to play the lanes straight, especially since he couldn't hit the same mark twice in a row and get proper roll on the ball all at the same time.

I couldn't agree more with what others have already stated--this was a terrible championship game, perhaps the worst I've ever seen.

I said nothing to the effect of "I'm as good as him...or even close".  The point is that he doesn't really hook it all that much.  He just throws it slow as all get out.
