Definately the best lineup so far.

lol, to be TOTALLY correct he lost the lead 2 times in the whole tournament, he lost the lead the first time in the 1st game of the round of 16 and Tommy J. took the lead but then Pete shot 267 and took it back...

walter ray williams, jr., has a chance to pick up some ground on chris barnes in the player of the year award race. williams, jr., will earn some points even if he doesn't happen to win the title. does anyone remember the point allocation for placing on the show ?

Can't wait! What a lineup!

If there is one thing I've learned about bowling, it's that someone else always knows more than you.

All-time Denny’s PBA Tour titles leader Walter Ray Williams Jr. earned the No. 4 seed and can take over the lead in the PBA Player of the Year race. Williams trails Chris Barnes by four points and would need to win two matches Sunday to tie Barnes. He would take a four-point lead if he advances to the title match and a 12-point lead should he win the title heading into next week’s season-ending 65th Denny’s U.S. Open.

GO CUBS!!!!

I'd love to see Tommy Delutz win and secure a spot on the tour next year. I've always liked watching him bowl and it's hard to say how long he's been at or near 100% since his injury.

Telling it like it is.

It proves that the round robin format identifies the best bowlers that particular week. I wish the PBA would get rid of the best of 7 match play format.

While I agree it does bring out the best bowlers, it really isn't what the PBA needs. People want to see familiar faces, but not too many. Most people, myself included, like seeing some new blood or a guy we haven't seen in a long time on the telecast. It keeps viewers watching to check out "the new guy." I really like the way the PBA has set their tournaments up this year. There is a good mix of round robin events to establish familiar faces and get the best of the best out there consistently, but there is also a good number of best of 7 events that get some new faces on the shows. Sounds like a good deal to me.
