This dood is 1 cool customer.  I met him once in Vegas about 8 years ago.  He was 16 years old, had about 20 300s, & multiple 800s.  I watched him bowl a set, the guy has SKILLS.  In a center where the high set for the week was like 1150ish, for 5 games(still not overly low) he went 830 out of the shoot, next 2 games were both close to 300.  I think he went something like, 250, 279, 299, 289, 300 or something crazy like that.  I was sitting next to his mom, she looked really calm, so i asked her if she was nervous.  She said "no, i see him do this all the time".

This kid is someone to look out for for sure.  I predict at least 1 win & 2 more TV appearances this season, provided he bowls all of the tourneys.

They're all like that.  What makes him more special?

I'd take that bet.

If he bowled all the rest of the qualifiers. He would be hard pressed to make it out of 4 of them. Then to win enough matches to make 3 shows, I don't think so.

Making the show is no easy task.  It is difficult to predict if an exempt member will make 1 or 2 shows for the rest of the season.  There are only a couple people you can make that sort of bet with confidence.

Drew is very good, make no mistake about it.  Experience over time will determine his place out on tour.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him make an exemption in the next couple of years, possibly through trials.  At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make it.  The tour can be brutal.
