Does anyone know what ball PDW and R.Shafer were throwing this past telecast?  And also why wasn't RG bowling balls on tour last year?

That is what it says on the PBA site.As far as Roto Grip,I don't think that they had a full sponsorship last year. You could use the stuff for regionals but not national tour stops.

Shafer used (at least a couple times) a Barb Wire shooting left hand spares.

Both used the Rapid Fire as their strike ball exclisively.

Just because the picture on one bowling internet web site does not match precisely what you saw on TV does not mean it was not that bowling ball. Anything with 2 colors or more can appear very differently from ball to ball.

Nope. The Rapid Fire.

Here's more corroboration from Storm:

So using your logic, that means every blue storm ball is a T-Road pearl. Sorry, you are incorrect. Either your TV is HD (horrible definition) or you do not watch things objectively, I presume it is a little of both.

The pro shop I use got their VIP balls last week and their Rapid Fires look just like the one's being used on TV.  They look nothing like the generic photo on most sites.

Sorry if I am wrong. I have not thrown storm equipment in awhile. All you have to say was your wrong. I can care less what they throw.

The stock photos for the Rapid Fire are way off. The key to picking out the Storm stuff is to look at the label colors. Thats how you could tell right away it wasn't a T-Road or Thunderstruck.
