Duke - 255.5 and he's out.
Baker - 248.4

voss and bohn dont shooty a game under 245 for their matches and both lose

couch avg over 250 in his match-and loses

lets just say

that NOT a flat shot at all-they have area and not a board or two

It's a lot easier to carve out a shot on a layer of oil this thin than it is to carve one out on some of the sport compliant shots the PBA plays on from time to time.

At least, we've bowled on it in our sport league, and the tape passes scrutiny...

One thing about the PBA is they get something like a half hour to tinker with their shot. The get to dry up part of it and wall up the shot where they want to. I say, give them 2 balls each on a fresh pair and thats it! It would be the hard shot its intended to be.

the pattern was thin, and the higher rev guys with some surface on their equipment were just blowing it up. on the telecast they said some of the guys were talking about moving in 10 boards from the first game to the last during the day, and the oil was just perfect for doing it: the pattern was flat and if your rythm for moving in was spot-on, you were pocket-bound all day long.
