Yeah, it is hard to watch someone who is obviously an incredible bowler struggle like that on TV.  I too was looking forward to a Malott/Barnes final, but I do feel bad for Mike.  Its obvious that he is one the tour's best bowlers, as evidenced by the fact that he is near the top every week during qualifying and match play.  Unfortunately it seems that he runs into a brick wall as soon as the bright lights of TV come on.  I hope he soon figures it out, because when he does, he is gonna be a handful for anyone he bowls against...will make for much better TV than 239-177 blowout.

He does seem to struggle on TV. I will say, we all have had a game of our lives, turn around the be on the other end of the stick as games go. I do not care to watch him, but I will say he's there and we are not, for that, I will give him what he deserves. Respect for his abilities.

Do I care for his comment last year...no.
Would I pay to watch him..no.
Do I respect his ability to be where he is...Yes.

I do wish him better luck in the next events but a person does pay for what he says.
