Tour Trials......
« on: March 25, 2004, 08:58:59 PM »
The tour trials are going to be tough. They have to bowl five days
straight bowling on one condition a day. It's going to be an emotional
week for these guys.

When do the trials start?  Is there any way to find out how things are going?

I'm relatively certain that pba.com will post the results of each day's proceedings.  Heck, they might even treat it like a tournament, with live scoring updates.

I haven't heard yet whether or not it will be shown on StrikePass.  Anyone know for sure?

What type of lane surface is at Stardust?

Anvilane? Guardian? ... or *gulp* wood?

Wood, and it will be fresh cut wood at that. What I have heard is that the lanes will be refinished 2 weeks before the tour trials, 1 week before the big regional.
