i'd like to thank all the players who helped me out today while i was in council bluffs. i spoke to jeff carter several weeks ago about he and some of his pals autographing a pba bowling pin. well, thanks to jeff i was able to get at least most of the exempt players autographs. there is a young man in our community that has been diagnosed with leukemia. this autographed pin will be raffled off to the highest bidder and the proceeds will go towards a fund for his medical expenses. jeff took time out of his busy schedule to help a young man whom he'd never met----this is what the world needs more of. i mentioned this fundraiser to brian voss as he was signing the pin and he said this was a wonderful thing. once again, thanks to all the pros today for helping out and a special thanks to jeff carter for giving so much of yourself.
