95 TPC - The Finish
« on: March 28, 2005, 04:19:33 AM »
Needed a place to post the small video clip. Enjoy it if you haven't seen it before:

If it doesn't play right away - save it then open it with Windows Media Player.

i dont remember pdw going crazy on tommy delutz when delutz left that 10 pin last year....only his 3rd or 4th non strike of the day..i dont know how pdw was before though.

i remember pdw going crazy when his shots bring good results....NOT bad results on others like peterson

DanH78,

My thoughts exactly!!!  Thank you for pointing that out.

  No different than PDW.

Can you point out an instance where Pete jumped up and down and celebrated after his opponent threw a great shot and got a bad break (if you can, then I'll take back the post, but I don't recall it happening).  Last year when he won because Lonnie missed in the 10th he put his head down, then quietly shook Lonnie's hand. (I think Pete was one of the guys Lonnie lost to last year in the finals, right?)  There is a difference between getting fired up during a match because you are doing well and celebrating your opponents loss.  And whether or not Pete ever acted like that, that doesn't excuse Schlegel.  Bad sportsmanship is bad sportsmanship.  I'd be just as irritated if it were  Voss, Duke, Roth, Bohn, etc.

Definately bad sportsmanship. Schlegel looked and sounded like an idiot.

Great Vid I have this entire telecast on tape. Some absolute great bowling went on that day. Voss running the front 9 against Himmler Voss throwing a Rhino T2, then a match of true classic Hall Of Famers Voss versus Ozio(throwing the Purple Quake) I still go back and watch this telecast from time to time.
