Every post about a professional bowler that someone knows or likes goes something like this:
X is a great bowler and a nice guy. I'm sure he'll win lots of titles. He has a great game.
Sometimes, a clause is inserted somewhere in there to indicate that he's a nice guy off the lanes and that he's simply extremely intense and competitive while bowling.
If all it took to win lots of titles was being a great guy and having an awesome game, they'd all have titles. Come up with some original reason why someone might win. Why you think that person has the advantage over someone else. "Great bowler" indeed.

Well he's a pretty nice guy....BUT I've always liked him on TV.
I think he has a pretty good TV win loss record and seems when hot to be a hell of a competitor!
I've seen a lot of really big games from him when in contention and bowling good enough to make the show. He's my pick....and that's why!

PS I believe he may be going for his 5th win on tour!
PPS I believe it was about two years ago is his last show and if I remember right he went about 279 to go finals and then he lost his reaction and maybe shot 159.
PPPS Show before that he was on I think he shot two 26Xs to win! Looked like right before the show he was given an injection of ice water! BArnes better look out!
