Recently, I re-watched the championship match of the 2011 US OPEN between Norm Duke and Mika Koivuniemi and the PBA and ESPN showed a display of players who had won multiple US OPEN titles. Unfortunately, they MISSPELLED the name of the great Andy Varipapa. Pretty sad they didn't have someone double-check for typos. This is just one more indication that the PBA is losing credibility and is a second rate organazation.

Just recently, the Phillies had a game against the Braves (was a dual brodcast on TBS and ESPN) and the box score at the end of the game on ESPN it had Phillies against the Dodgers in the box score.
So don't look at this as a slight against the PBA (even though they are not very credible) but it should be against ESPN
I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

Bottom line is this: mistakes are made. Unfortunately it was not caught before displayed.

Or major league players that names are spelled wrong on the jersey, even better when team names are misspelled.
Don't get me wrong I hate the ESPN coverage of bowling. They have tried so many format changes it is a joke. Misspells are common..
Be good, or be good at it.

I remember a few years ago the Nationals started the season with uniforms that said "Natinals"

Oh my gosh. Land 'o goshen. That's enough to turn my smile upside down. Say it isn't so ESPN. I am sure they will try better and all will be right as rain again.
Turn that frown upside down!

probably just a college intern. I'd say cut some slack.

The PBA has much bigger things to worry about, like if they're going to even be around next year.
3 holes of fun!!
