Believe it or not, I am rooting for PDW.

I used to hate him. His antics and attitude made me want to literally beat the crap out of him. But, as he has gotten older (as have I), I have begun to see a change.

He still has talent, and attitude, but his humanity has begun to show through for people to see. He no longer is the "invincible" PDW, now you can see his nerves affect him, and see how much he wants to perform and win. And the pressure he puts on himself to be as good as he once was.

Who can't help rooting for the emotional underdog?

Looks like it isn't going to happen.

Guess I can now root for the OTHER old guy .

they didn''t meet in the title match but the result was still the same.....williams, jr., defeats weber on tv.

A super bowl of bowling is not between two bowlers at this tournament...sorry. The super bowl of bowling in my eyes last decade or so is the US Open. If they were at that event or had two top bowlers go at for a title it which they usually do then I would agree. Then you could argue the other 3 majors as well.

It's also obvious to most anyone Pete isn't just bowling the pins on tv. He's clearly affected by Walter on tv. Match play he may get him when your rotating against players but he clearly seems to lose focus against the great one.
